First of all, thank you SO much for all the lovely messages and tweets regarding my birthday, they were all really sweet and made me smile A LOT       :)

Onto my birthday makeup... being a makeup obsessor I'm one of those sad people that plan their birthday makeup before actually doing it. The false (but subtle) eyelashes come out, as well as the (yes, again) smokey eye along with a nude lip!

There are a few close up snaps of my eyes, which I included quite a few products as well as some fake lashes! I'm a firm believer of play up one feature so I kept the rest of my face pretty muted as my eyes were so deep and smokey...

Eyes
- Mac Paint Pot in Painterly as a base to ensure that my eyeshadow stayed on all evening
- All the colours I used were from my Inglot Palette I picked up at the IMATS in January, which I absolutely adore - you can read more here
- I used the shimmery cream colour, AMC Eyeshadow Shine 11, in my tearduct with the brown shade Eyeshadow Pearl 422 all over the lid, a mix of the grey, Eyeshadow Pearl 444, and black, AMC Eyeshadow Shine 63, in the crease. While blending all the colours together with the Rainbow Eyeshadow 107R
- For black eyeliner I used my Hourglass Script Liquid Eyeliner (post here) and then applied my favourite Ardell Demi Wispies False Lashes (post here). Merged my lashes and the false ones with Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Mascara

Skin
- The usual three products I rely on for photo ready matt skin are Givenchy Mister Matt Primer, Giorgio Aramni Luminous Silk (link) and Chanel Natural Finish Loose Powder.
- For blush I used Chanel Blush Duo Tweed Effect in 20 Tweed Corail, a lovely light peach shade as well as applying the darker colour of the Sleek Contour Kit through my cheekbones

Lips
- My latest nude combination of L'Oreal Rouge Caresse in 501 Nude Ingenue followed by L'Oreal Glam Shine in 186 Aqua Grapefruit

Ps- How amazing is the cake my lovely friend made?! It tasted just as good as it looked     ;)
