This past saturday I headed over to a charity ball in Battersea Power Station for an evening of Tiara's & Tuexedos (seriously that was the dress code!), and of course the usual smokey eye came with me. Tieing in with my dark black satin dress, I decided to play up my eyes and leave my lips nude, keeping cheeks pretty bare.

My eyes were quite dramatic with a lot of eyeliner and I added in some lashes too. As I needed my makeup to last until the early hours of the morning I made sure to use primer, and set my foundation with powder. SPF free foundation is crucial if pictures are involved and for this I used my trusty Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk.

Skin
- As a primer I used, Hourglass Mineral Veil, with Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk all set with Chanel Univeral Loose Powder (my trusty, yet pricey long lasting party triplet!)

Eyes
Started off my priming my eyelids with Mac Paint Pot in Painterly to ensure my eye makeup lasted all evening and didn't crease, I then applied L'Oreal Infalliable Eyeshadow in Endless Chocolate all over the lid, Eternal Black in the outer half of my lid and blended everything together with Mac Wedge eyeshadow and a Mac 217 Brush.

Lips
- I kept my lips simple with a layer of Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector.

So there we have it, I'm sure this look will be accompanying me to many parties this holiday season, and yes, I did wear a tiara thanks to my lovely friend Simone who provided me one!
