This is what we get when my photographer (aka my sister) tries to get me involved in some festive posing - cue very interested onlookers in the lobby.  I'm not even going to bother showing you what ridiculous pose she insisted I master as this photo occurred, but, as usual, it ended up with both of us in fits of laughter.

Something about stuffing my face with mince pies, mulled wine and the  smell of pine cones brings on some festive cheer so, here's an attempt at being sentimental...

Be warned of sop: A big thank you to you for your support and stopping by Liana Beauty. Reading your comments, emails, messages and tweets are my favourite part of the day.  Not to mention your enabling abilities - thanks to you guys 2012 was the year I ventured out into the world of bold lips, grew wish-lists of your recommendations longer than my arm and even had my hair in a multitude of styles that didn't involve just hanging on my shoulders.  Everyone always asks the best part about blogging and my answer remains - knowing that someone like you has gone out, bought, tried and (the best bit) loved something I've recommended is the biggest gratification I could ever receive.

On a more beauty note - my hair bow! Not going to lie was very proud to be rocking this out, cue multiple pictures sent to my best friends 'LOOK WHAT I'VE DONE!'

Please note: this is about as DIY as I get people - and yes, it took a while to master but I think I've got the hang of it. The hair bow - or what I should really call...what to do with post-horse riding helmet hair.

No matter what holiday you're celebrating/celebrated from Eid, Divali, Hannukah to Christmas or even if you celebrate none of them above - enjoy! Seasons Greetings (suits everyone no matter their beliefs - don't you think?)

Oh PS - one more thing... I would love to know from you what are your favourite kind of posts? My Makeup? Beauty On Location? How-To's
