Last week Liz Earle released her new beauty range featuring mainly skin products, blush, bronzer, powder as well as mascara and eyeliner. Liz Earle who is best known for creating the infamous Cleanse and Polish, which I briefly mentioned here, that has won many awards including recently the CEW award for most revolutionary beauty product of the last 20 years. As soon as I found out Liz Earle would be expanding into makeup I was thrilled, especially as my skin reacts so well to their natural products. I recently headed over to the Liz Earle shop in Duke Of York Square to have a look at the collection. The store is lovely, really spacious and smells so relaxing - they even have treatment rooms where you can get Liz Earle facials! :) Onto the products, I did purchase a few which I will be reviewing later. They are in the medium price range, from £11 for an eyeliner to £21 for a Sheer Skin Tint and are very practically packaged. I will keep you updated!

You can shop and browse the Liz Earle Site here
PS - with every purchase made in store you can choose a mini travel size sample :)

After recently attending an event held by Dior & Vogue in Harrods introducing the Croisette Summer Collection (post here), I went home with a couple of my favourite pieces, two of which included the Dior 1 Couleur Eye Gloss in 750 Sunset and 560 Tan and the Dior 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette in 654 Aurora. Part  of the collection was very pastel/sorbet based which, as beautiful as the colours were, I personally wouldn't wear. However the other part of the collection was very sunset inspired, including some golden and brown shades which I adore!

First up, the 1 Couleur Eye Gloss,  being unlike anything I have ever tried before these were quite exciting! There are four shades in the collection, above are the shades 750 Sunset (left) and 560 Tan (right). Unlike the name suggests these do not have a glossy finish, when applied they have a cooling tingly sensation and then dry a glittery powder. As Dior's National Makeup Artist, Jamie Coombs, suggested they work best when used as a primer before eyeshadow, which brings me onto the next item...

5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette in 654 Aurora is very sunset based being a very warm palette that includes golden, orange and brown tones. Dior being my favourite high end eyeshadow brand of course didn't disappoint, the eyeshadows are pigmented, blendable and creamy. They are all very shimmery however so many one to steer away from if you're a matt eyeshadow girl.

I'm not really fussy about dry shampoo's, I tend to use whichever one appears on my dresser, recently it's been the Batiste Dry Shampoo in Cherry but for now it's Batiste's latest edition to the collection, Lace.

I'm sure you're aware of what amazing life saviours dry shampoo can be! Apart from adding volume and scent they eliminate greasy roots (ew!). Out of all the Batiste collection, Lace is my favourite as the scent is the least over powering and gives off an elegant musky feel.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Lace is £2.99 & available from Superdrug & Boots

PS - How cute are these Batiste Dry Shampoo Lace Cupcakes?!

There's a new brand on the block called Etat Pur that sounds right up my street! Especially as it's manufactured and tested by two of my favourite skincare ranges, Bioderma and Institut Esthederm. It's basically a fuss and frill free brand that aims to target and solve different problemsfor each skin type. Their Pure Actives, the main reason why I was drawn to them, are little bottles of specific doses, each to combat a specific skin concern or problem such as spots, dryness or wrinkles. You can actually log on to their site here, and go though each skin problem you have and Etat Pur provides you with each specific Pure Actives to help solve that problem! I will keep you updated on these as I have yet to notice a difference while using them.

Etat Pur - Pure Active!

Etat Pur also include some other wonderful products such as Eau Micellaire/Cleansing Water, for all Bioderma lovers that know it's impossible to get hold of in the UK (if you have no idea what I'm talking about you can read my post here!) this is a great alternative! It's definitely not as effective at removing makeup as Bioderma but a great alternative.

Etat Pur offer free delivery on your first order, plus 3 free samples! On the downside delivery does take a good two weeks to arrive...

A concept so simple yet so effective that I can't help but wonder why it took so long to come up with! Introducing nail polish - with a light, i-polish! Turned on by a button located on the top of the lid that highlights lightens your brush strokes so you know exactly where you're applying the product.
My first thought was who paints their nails in the dark? After just trying this once, with the light on, I found that tiny light made a world of difference! It enables you to be so much more precise and see the layers of nail polish much clearer!

Available in 24 shades below from Debenhams, £10.
