The Most Amazing Eye Makeup Remover...Ever?

When you slap on as much eyeshadow as I do to create the smokey eyes that make such a regular occurrence on my face, there inevitably comes that laborious unglamorous task of removing it all, which usually results in me resembling a panda, black mascara around my eyes, tugging away at that pesky waterproof eyeliner.

My previous remover favourites have been Lancome Bi-Facil, which at more than one smokey eye a week becomes quite a costly operation to uphold, next was Melvita Eye Makeup Remover which works fantastically until I tried Bliss Lid + Lash Wash Make Up Remover, a brand I wouldn't normally go to for makeup removal as I tend to associate them with moisturisers or body scrubs. 

Let me tell you now - one pump of this got off this intense smokey eye in one sweep! Yes, one sweep. (without tugging) It was truly unbelievable, the gel texture just melts off eye makeup without transferring it around the rest of my face or leaving my eyes feeling oily or stinging. The true test is with waterproof mascara, which was still a struggle to remove but less so than Lancome Bi Facil. 

The best eye makeup remover I have found to date! Needless to say I will be buying back ups      

Product Rave: By Terry Ombre Blackstar

When it comes to my minimal makeup it's mascara and a base, base being foundation and concealer, but there's one quick step that pulls everything together and takes a look from being minimal to slightly more polished, a pop of colour. The item in question that I've been gliding along my lower lash line for achieving this is By Terry Ombre Blackstar in 11 Beyond Gold.

The Ombre Blackstar are a cream eyeshadow pencil that have been in the range for a while but this shade is part of their fall collection. As far as eyeliner crayons go it's got it all, extremely pigmented, creamy, blendable and best of all doesnt tug at your eyes. In fact, it literally feels like silk gliding over your eyelids.

What impressed me the most was the most incredible lasting power...when applied at 8am, attended meetings and events all day, that evening at around 10pm got on a long haul flight and when I arrived in my hotel room at 5am, I was in absolute awe to see the golden eyeliner still in tact with only the slightest of fading on my waterline. Incredible.

Can't rave about it enough! Will be definitely be checking out some other shades...
