Jenny, better known by her YouTube name MissJenFabulous, has unmistakably become a rising star among the beauty community. Through a vast collection of trending makeup tutorials and nail art how-to’s, she has acquired more than 157,000 subscribers in the last two years. Keep reading to find out the story behind Jenny’s start on YouTube, a few of her secrets to beauty success, plus much more!

Sigma: What made you want to create a YouTube channel dedicated to beauty?
MissJenFabulous: I have always had a passion for anything beauty related. Since I was a little girl I loved playing with my mom’s makeup. I also loved playing "school" with all of my baby dolls. So making a YouTube channel to teach others my tips and tricks was something I feel like I was born to do. It was just a passion that I have always had inside of me and YouTube is a great creative outlet!

Sigma: What is your favorite beauty trend this season?
MissJenFabulous: I am loving the oxblood color trend! It’s such a rich, bold color. It’s trendy and chic but also a little edgy at the same time. There are so many amazing oxblood nail polish shades and lip colors that just scream fall time! I think it’s a color that will also transition into the winter months very easily. If you invest in some new products to try out this trend, you should get good use out of them!
Sigma: If you could only use three makeup products, which ones would you choose?
MissJenFabulous: Foundation would be a must. Second would be mascara. My third choice is hard… I guess I would have to go with a tinted lip balm for a little color and shine!

Sigma: What are your favorite Sigma products and why?
MissJenFabulous: The F80 Flat Kabuki brush is hands down my favorite brush. It buffs on my foundation like a dream and makes my skin look flawless. I also couldn't be without my E35 Blending brush. I use it every single day to darken and add depth to my crease; it’s the perfect shape and size for defining the eyes. I also adore the new Beauty Expert - Brow Design Kit. Since I highlight my hair, I am always lightening my eyebrows so that they will match. With my eyebrows being different shades at times, I love mixing the brow powders in the kit and creating my perfect shade.

Sigma: Who is your beauty icon?
MissJenFabulous: Cindy Crawford. She is almost 50 years old and she looks just as amazing as she did when she was in her twenties. Her beauty is very inspiring.

Sigma: Is there a beauty mistake you’ve made but learned from?
MissJenFabulous: Over-plucking my eyebrows. I had super thin brows in high school and it looked awful. I now stay far away from the magnifying mirror when I pluck my brows!

Sigma: If your YouTube channel had a motto, what would it be?
MissJenFabulous: Be true to yourself and dream big!

Sigma: Tell us a thing or two that most people might not know about you.
MissJenFabulous: I have been into art my whole life. I was selected to go to a special art camp program while in high school but I also loved beauty and anything makeup related. I wanted a way to express myself and cosmetology school just seemed like the right decision for me, so I enrolled right out of high school. I love having my professional license and being creative with makeup and nail art!

Sigma: What piece of beauty advice do you swear by?
MissJenFabulous: Moisturizing! When your skin is moisturized, your makeup applies and looks much better. I also always wash my makeup offbefore bed no matter how tired I am! Skincare in general is very important to me. If you don't have nice skin, no amount of makeup can fix that.

Suzy is a 27-year-old lover of all things beauty. From the heart of Los Angeles, she has been performing her self-taught makeup skills since 2002. Her main audience consists of teens and young adults who look up to her creative and fun talent shared on all of her social networking sites.

Suzy does makeup for weddings, proms, online makeup tutorials, and other beauty-related events. Amongst her great experiences, the opportunity to work with some amazing brands and being a part of the Sigma Paris Makeup Palette collaboration are at the top of her list.
Suzy’s favorite makeup look? Bold and intense eyes with a toned-down lip. “There is no absolute standard of beauty. Makeup is a way to express yourself and how you're feeling, so have fun with it!”
“The most important part for me is just being able to make someone feel good about themselves. I have received messages from girls who say they've never felt pretty about themselves and to hear that I had a positive impact on their confidence is really endearing.  Also, forming unexpected bonds and friendships with people who share the same passion as me has been very rewarding. Some of my closest friends are those whom I've met through the beauty industry.”

Sigma Beauty: What was the most rewarding part about your trip to Paris?
Suzy: Being able to work in such an amazing city, with such wonderful people!
There's nothing better than working with a company and friends that share the same passion as you, especially in Paris of all places.

Sigma Beauty: What did you like best about the city itself?
Suzy: The architecture! Everything in Paris looked like art. I love the culture and really appreciate how they preserve their buildings.

Sigma Beauty: What did you learn from this experience/collaboration with Sigma?
Suzy: Sigma is a very detail oriented company and I have the utmost respect for them!  They really care about their customers, and are very passionate about getting things exactly how we envisioned. They are amazing!

Sigma Beauty: What was it like to learn about the process of how an eye shadow palette and eye shadow colors are created?
Suzy: It was really interesting. I didn't realize how many steps there could be to create something from scratch! There's a lot of hard work in creating something and getting it just right. I was staring at pantone colors for the longest time trying to figure out which shade I thought represented Orsay.

Sigma Beauty: What is your favorite way to wear the eye shadow color that you created?
Suzy: I love wearing it as the main color on my lids. It's such a fun and bright color! It's definitely attention getting. I feel like it's one of those colors where someone would ask you, "What's that you're wearing on your eyes? I need it!" ;)

Jennie is the 24-year-old UK-based beauty and fashion enthusiast behind the popular YouTube channel BeautyByJJ. Jennie enjoys spreading her love for makeup, fashion, hairstyles, reviews, hauls, random thoughts to her viewers both through her YouTube channel and blog.

Sigma Beauty: What are some of your favorite Sigma products and why?
BeautyByJJ: It would have to be the Essential and Premiumbrush kits. I always incorporate these brushes whenever I’m doing makeup tutorials or for everyday use.

Sigma Beauty: What is your favorite makeup look for summer?
BeautyByJJ: I love rocking a neutral eye with a bright bold lip and the good thing about it is that this look can also be worn all year round.

Sigma Beauty: List a few things most people might not know about you.
BeautyByJJ: I can’t swim and my favourite movie genre is horror.

Sigma Beauty: What is a beauty blunder you’ve made but learned from?
BeautyByJJ: I have learned not to smile when applying blush to my cheeks as I find that once I relax my face the blush tends to be higher than I want it to be so I just keep my face still. I now apply it to my cheeks sweeping it upwards toward my hairline.

Sigma Beauty: What is the best piece of beauty advice you’ve ever received?
BeautyByJJ: Not everyone is going to agree with you and your preferences so be comfortable with whatever you’re doing and make sure you are doing it for you and not to please others.

Sigma Beauty: What is the makeup look you find yourself going back to again and again?
BeautyByJJ: This would be a gold and brown soft smokey eye with nude pink lips. If I’m in a rush or can’t seem to think of a look to create, I always go for that one.

Sigma Beauty: What beauty items can you not leave home without?
BeautyByJJ: Lip products -- lip pencil, lipstick and lipgloss and a blot powder. I normally have two or sometimes three lipsticks to choose from just in case I change my mind. Due to oily skin my face tends to get quite shiny in my t-zone area so I never leave home without my blot powder.

Sigma Beauty: What’s been your most rewarding experience since starting your YouTube channel?
BeautyByJJ: The most rewarding experience is getting to read daily that my videos are inspiring to my viewers, especially darker skin toned women. It is also very rewarding to know that they are becoming more confident in experimenting with different things, whether it is using bright colours or getting a whole new wardrobe. It really makes creating videos a lot more worthwhile.

Sigma Beauty: If you could only use three beauty items for the rest of your life, what would they be and why?
BeautyByJJ: 1) Foundation because it helps to cover most of my blemishes, 2) Eyebrow kit because I just have to have well defined eyebrows and 3) False eyelashes because they make a huge difference even when you don’t have any makeup on.

Sigma Beauty: What can your viewers expect to see in the future?
BeautyByJJ: Better edited beauty and fashion videos, celebrity-inspired tutorials and styling videos, more product reviews and a lot more giveaways!

Loud! Bold! Drag! Petrilude (aka Josh) is a 27-year-old natural born talent living in NYC. Since his start on YouTube back in 2006, Josh has been creating eccentric, out-of-the-box looks, including his intricate Halloween makeup tutorials that are always a huge hit.

He says his audience is made up of "anyone and everyone!" His advice for those venturing into the makeup world is, “It’s only makeup so have fun with it and try new things and if it doesn't work, wash it off.”

Josh has had the honor of being invited to do makeup for multiple runway shows for fashion week four seasons in a row.  His most memorable experience in the beauty industry has been “the opportunity to meet many of the people I look up to in the industry for tips and tricks... also finding out that some of them watch my videos and learn from me.”

Sigma Beauty: What was the most rewarding part about your trip to Paris?
Josh: Getting to know more about the other YouTubers I was on the trip with and seeing how alike everyone is even though we're all so different.

Sigma Beauty: What did you like best about the city itself?
Josh: The architecture! There's so much history in all of the buildings, it's amazing to see how well-preserved everything is.

Sigma Beauty: What did you learn from this experience/collaboration with Sigma?
Josh: I learned so much about Paris' history while seeing all of the sights, and traveling around the city. I also learned that a lot more goes into making an eye shadow/palette than you would think.

Sigma Beauty: What was it like to learn about the process of how an eye shadow palette and eye shadow colors are created?
Josh: It's crazy! Most people think you just go "oh I want a blue" and go from there. But there are so many different shades, so many different finishes, and unlimited possibilities of stuff you can do to make a color. Then when you consider the fact that you have to make it all cohesive, add in blush colors, etc., it makes it even crazier! It was cool to see and be a part of the process, and knowing how much work actually goes into it makes me appreciate it all that much more.

Sigma Beauty: What is your favorite way to wear the eye shadow color that you created?
Josh: Either as a smokey eye, a pop of color in the crease, or used as an eyeliner.

Jen is a 27-year-old YouTube beauty guru who has been creating easy-to-follow, everyday makeup tutorials since 2008. Her audience is made up of mostly females, ages 13-34 with a large portion of her subscribers English-speaking Asians around the world. Jen describes her signature makeup style as wearable but fun by changing it up with bright colors and dramatic eyeliner.

Jen’s educational background is in Industrial Design with an emphasis in Psychology, however, she thoroughly enjoys her work as a freelance makeup artist. Her career highlight in the makeup industry has been traveling. “The opportunity to be able to visit places I’ve never been before and see things I’ve never seen has been amazing.” Her most memorable experience was visiting IMATS LA for the first time last year; she describes it as a “kid in a candy store” experience.

Sigma Beauty: What was the most rewarding part about your trip to Paris?
Jen: The most rewarding part was getting to meet and become friends with some of my favorite YouTubers. Everyone got along really well which made the trip so much more exciting and enjoyable!

Sigma Beauty:  What did you like best about the city itself?
Jen: The best part was definitely getting to absorb all of the sights and sounds of each place we visited. There are so many beautiful things to see from the monuments to just the people themselves. I'm a big people watcher so I had fun checking out the fashion and classic style of Parisians.

Sigma Beauty: What did you learn from this experience/collaboration with Sigma?
Jen: I learned that creating any product, especially beauty-related, takes a lot of trial and error to get the perfect result. There are a lot of samples that you have to go through to get exactly what you want. It makes me respect anyone who works in this field because you really have to have a clear idea of what you want and the patience to get there!

Sigma Beauty: What was it like to learn about the process of how an eye shadow palette and eye shadow colors are created?
Jen: It was very cool to get an insider's look. We swatched several different samples we had to work with, and mixed 10% of this color with another color or took two different blushes to make one that was flattering on everyone. The great part is we got to have everyone's feedback and experiences at the same time which was very unique and valuable.

Sigma Beauty: What is your favorite way to wear the eye shadow color that you created?
Jen: I love using it on top of a dark cream base to really pull out the duo-chrome effect. It also looks great for contouring in the crease!

From LA, 24-year-old Dulce has had her career in the beauty spotlight for more than three years. With no formal training, she has taught herself the ins and outs of perfecting the artistry of makeup. She has since become one of the most renowned beauty gurus and inspirational figures to young women across the world thanks to YouTube. Her target audience ranges from ages 17-24 with the majority of her videos focusing on beauty product hauls and tutorials, all inspired by the most current trends.

Dulce’s favorite day-to-day look consists of the classic cat eye, lots of mascara and a pink lip. Her take on beauty is inspired by the Sophia Loren quote, "Beauty is how you feel inside, and it reflects in your eyes. It is not something physical.”

With currently more than 100 million views on YouTube and nearly 150K fans on Facebook, Dulce has undoubtedly become one of the top fashion and beauty icons for the social media generation. Her delightful presence has been featured among several publications and events including Seventeen Magazine, Nylon Magazine, Sigma Beauty Paris Project, NYX display at Ulta, the cover of The Stylist Handbook, and Regard Magazine. She was also named "Official Blogger" for the LA Fashion Night Out 2011 and selected as a recent judge for the Miss California 2012 pageant.

Dulce's YouTube channel is not only an outlet to express her various passions and creativity, but also her way of inspiring other girls to feel more beautiful and take on a higher self-esteem.

One of Dulce’s most memorable moments in the beauty industry was having the chance to visit Paris for the Sigma Beauty Paris Project. “It will forever be an inspirational experience that I will never forget."

Sigma Beauty: What was the most rewarding part about your trip to Paris?
Dulce: Exploring the city with a group of creative individuals! It's always been a dream of mine to travel to Paris. To be able to do this while working on this project was definitely a dream come true for me.

Sigma Beauty: What did you like best about the city itself?
Dulce: I loved EVERYTHING, but if I could only choose one thing I would have to say that I loved the history. There's so much to learn and appreciate. The architecture was phenomenal.

Sigma Beauty: What did you learn from this experience/collaboration with Sigma?
Dulce: I learned a lot just being surrounded by the other gurus, especially when we had a creative meeting in Paris. They would pick up on things I would have never noticed.

Sigma Beauty: What was it like to learn about the process of how an eye shadow palette and eye shadow colors are created?
Dulce: I learned that the process of creating one single color alone takes a lot of work. From the idea at hand, to the final desired swatch, it's a long process but it's great to see the final product.

Sigma Beauty: What is your favorite way to wear the eye shadow color that you created?
Dulce: I really appreciated the fact that we were able to feel inspired by our monument. My location was the Champs-Élysées and I feel that my color represents that strip quite well. My favorite way to wear this shadow is on the crease, either alone during the day or a bit more present for a night look.

Her most memorable experience she's had since joining the YouTube beauty community was being given the opportunity to go to Paris for the Sigma Paris Project.

Sigma Beauty: What was the most rewarding part about your trip to Paris?
Christine: I would have to say I really enjoyed the dinner cruise down the Seine because the view of the city as we toured down the river at night was so captivating. Another moment that really moved me was when we entered the courtyard of the Louvre. I could have stayed there for hours; there is nothing more rewarding than being caught in the moment.

Sigma Beauty: What did you like best about the city itself?
Christine:There is just something about Paris that when you're there, you can't help but feel overwhelmed by its beauty and grandeur. I appreciate that Paris is so full of history, hope, and passion. Also, I'm not going to lie the desserts/pastries are unforgettable.

Sigma Beauty: What did you learn from this experience/collaboration with Sigma?
Christine: I learned that time, patience, and dedication is invaluable to not only pull off a project like this, but to pull it off well.

Sigma Beauty: What was it like to learn about the process of how an eye shadow palette and eye shadow colors are created?
Christine: It was really interesting to see all of the different components of the palette slowly coming together. I am still excited and honored to have been a part of it.

Sigma Beauty: What is your favorite way to wear the eye shadow color that you created?
Christine: I love wearing it all over the lid whether paired with a soft or dramatic smokey eye.

Tiffany, or better known as her YouTube name, "MakeupbyTiffanyD," is a 27-year-old beauty guru, blogger and self-taught makeup artist from Atlanta, Georgia. Her style can be characterized as classic and glamorous, however, she says she is definitely not trendy for the sake of being trendy.

Tiffany has been referred to as one of the most relate-able gurus in the YouTube beauty community. She prides herself on creating videos and sharing beauty advice for a wide range of women; young teens to those in their 50s and beyond. "Applying makeup a certain way or having particular features doesn’t make you beautiful. True, memorable beauty comes from being genuine, happy, confident, and presenting yourself in a way that makes you, you."

Tiffany has been fortunate enough to travel overseas and all over the United States working with many of the beauty companies she has admired for years. Her most memorable experience was her photo shoot at the Eiffel Tower in Paris for the Paris Makeup Palette project with Sigma Beauty.

Becoming a well-known guru has been very rewarding on many levels for this beauty expert. “Meeting my fans face-to-face at events like IMATS and meet-ups, and even just around my hometown in everyday life is a great feeling. Having people tell me that my videos have helped them learn how to apply makeup because they never had someone to show them how, or that I helped them through a difficult time just by bringing a smile to their face and providing a few minutes of escape through videos -- it's those types of things make everything worth it.”

Sigma Beauty: What was the most rewarding part about your trip to Paris?
Tiffany: The experience itself. Being able to travel somewhere I always dreamed of going and leaving the city knowing we had been inspired to create something we can always keep to remind us of the experience.

Sigma Beauty: What did you like best about the city itself?
Tiffany: Just the feeling of being there and seeing things that had so much history. Famous places I had seen in movies and learned about all my life were around every corner. The feeling that every place and every building had a story and meant something.  It was incredibly beautiful and such an indescribable feeling.

Sigma Beauty: What did you learn from this experience/collaboration with Sigma?
Tiffany: That several individuals can come together with different styles and gather inspiration from one city to create something that naturally "works".  I was amazed at how although we all had our own eye shadow colors that were very independently created with our own personal preferences, they all formed such a beautiful final product that really made sense when it all came together in the end.  On the other hand, where the face colors were concerned, we were all very hands-on in creating that together. Seeing all of our preferences and opinions directly reflected in the final product of those shades was great. The finished product is something we can always be proud of creating together.

Sigma Beauty: What was it like to learn about the process of how a makeup palette and eye shadow colors are created?
Tiffany: I knew it was hard work where the actual production was concerned, but actually seeing what it's like to make the final decisions and make changes to samples until everything was perfect was really fun. It's exciting to see my actual shade come to life and to see everyone's ideas we discussed come to life as actual eye shadows of the exact shade we each dreamed up in the final product.

Sigma Beauty: What is your favorite way to wear the eye shadow color that you created?
Tiffany: My shade is so dramatic yet versatile. I love that there are endless ways to create looks with it. However, my favorite way to w ear it is what I describe as a "Parisian smokey eye," using the shade to create lots of drama around the eye for a really classic yet fun look.

Asia is a beauty-obsessed New Yorker who has been sharing tips and tricks on makeup, fashion and everything in between on her YouTube channel, AllThingsFabulous101, since 2009. No matter what your shape, size or budget is, Asia always says, "Embrace your inner fab!"

We were lucky enough to chat with this gorgeous guru a while back and receive the insider scoop on some beauty101. Check it out:

Sigma Beauty: What are your favorite Sigma products?
AllThingsFabulous101: The Premium Kit and the Synthetic Essential Kit. I literally take them everywhere with me, I never do my makeup without using brushes from either of those kits!

Sigma Beauty: What is the best piece of beauty advice you have ever received?
AllThingsFabulous101: The best piece of beauty advice that I've ever received is doing what works for me and makes me happy. We are all individuals so we have different personal tastes and preferences. I know that sometimes it's so easy to get caught up in what everyone else is doing but we have to remind ourselves to tailor our beauty regimens to our own individual needs and liking.

Sigma Beauty: What is your favorite part of having a YouTube channel?
AllThingsFabulous101: Being able to help and inspire other women and also young girls to love themselves and embrace their inner FAB! I also love interacting with my subscribers and the people that support my channel. Sometimes I can be having a bad day and then I will receive the sweetest email or comment; that just makes my day and puts a smile on my face.

Sigma Beauty: What originally inspired you to create a YouTube channel?
AllThingsFabulous101: I actually found the beauty and fashion communities on YouTube by accident when searching for something on Google. I watched other peoples’ amazing videos for nearly a year before mustering up enough courage to start a channel of my own. I decided to create a YouTube channel because I really wanted to share my passions for fashion and beauty.

Sigma Beauty: If you could only use five makeup products for the rest of your life, what would they be?
AllThingsFabulous101: Foundation, concealer, lipstick, lip gloss, and blush.

Sigma Beauty: Is there a particular makeup look you find yourself coming back to on a regular basis?
AllThingsFabulous: I love neutrals with a bright lip, so I always find myself doing a neutral metallic smokey eye, luminous cheek, and a nice bold lip. That's definitely my go-to makeup look.

Sigma Beauty: What beauty trend are you looking forward to wearing most this summer?
AllThingsFabulous101: I am definitely looking forward to bold lip trend, all of the corals, oranges, and bright pinks!

Sigma Beauty: What beauty items do you have on you at all times?
AllThingsFabulous101: I always keep an arsenal of lip products like lip balms, lipsticks, and lip glosses on me at all times. I don't know why but it's just a habit - a girl has to have options!

Sigma Beauty: When do you feel the most beautiful?
AllThingsFabulous101: When I wake up in the morning and look in the mirror with my hair all over the place and without a drop of makeup on. Of course I love makeup and I love how I look when I wear it, but I think that makeup should be used to enhance our beauty, not define it.

Sigma Beauty: How has having a YouTube channel changed your perspective on makeup?
AllThingsFabulous101: Having a YouTube channel has definitely helped me step outside of the box and try new things with makeup. It has also helped me to improve my makeup application skills and techniques and to just have more fun with makeup.
