Items I discovered & rediscovered that I've been loving in February are...
Read my full post about it here.
The Skincare
From left to right
Eve Lom Rescue Mask - I have been using this religiously on my blemishes and the more I use it the more I love it! Using it as an overnight spot treatment on individual blemishes has really been helping to reduce redness and keep any at bay.
Read my full post about it here.
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream - Remembered how much I rely on this in winter this month! Cuticles, lips & even hands (even though its a bit sticky). My lips tend to get dry on the corners and leaving a dollop of Eight Hour Cream on overnight has really helped combat this.
Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Setting Spray - After my little test on setting sprays (read about it here) I have been addicted to Urban Decay All Nighter for locking in makeup before I go out.
Blinc Lash Oil - I haven't noticed any significant changes yet but I love the feeling of coating my lashes in a goodness oil! Stay tuned...
Lush Lip Scrub in Bubblegum - I literally just love the taste. Also it is great at getting rid of dead skin cells and flakey lips. More on how to use it here.
Clarins Lotus Facial Oil - Something I have just started using in the past couple of weeks and loving it! Feels like such a luxury item and is so calming to press against the skin however haven't used it long enough to form a solid opinion so stay tuned for a review!
The Makeup
The Face
By Terry Touche Veloutee Concealer - I always knew I liked this a lot but never enough to rave about it until I noticed I has actually come to my third purchase! I usually get bored of products easily or either think something better is available but this is slowly becoming a serious favourite! Read my full post here.
Sleek Contour Palette in Light - After recently discovering Sleek eyeshadow palettes and loving them I went a little Sleek crazy. My latest obsession - the contour palette! I love the dark shade as it is really subtle, has no shimmer & blends easily aka perfect for day time! However the highlighter shade...not so sure just yet...
Nars Bronzer Blusher Duo Laguna & Orgasm - I've been using Nars Laguna & Orgasm for years and years and have finally got my hands on a limited edition set of both :) This comes in a full set from ASOS see & read about it here.
Jemma Kidd Makeup School Mineral Skin Nourishing Tint SPF 20 in 02 Cameo - I know it looks like I've almost finished this but don't be fooled - not as a foundation! Actually as a highlighter as it is soo shimmery (who would want a shimmery foundation? We just can't be sure...) but it works great as a subtle highlight!
Guerlain Meteorites Cruel Gardenia - I apply this for a more visible highlight as it has more shimmer. I have been loving using this on my collarbones too! Full post here.
Giorgio Armani Master Corrector - My fool proof product for faking more sleep as it counteracts the blue tone in under eye bags!
Giorgio Armani High Precision Retouch - I apply this following my Giorgio Armani Master Corrector as they make a great concealing team :) Swatches & how to use the two here.
The Eyes
Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Ore - Annoying packaging but wow do I love the colour & shimmer! Perfect from glamming up a smokey eye.
Burberry Sheer Eyeshadow in Midnight Brown 21 - I'm sure you can see I've created a little dent in this shadow because I can't bring myself to ruin the gorgeous pattern! Read more about this eyeshadow here.
L'Oreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara - Not my favourite mascara ever but I've still really been enjoying using False Lash Telescopic. It does make my lashes feel a bit crunchy and hard after a while but I let that slide and it is so lengthening.
Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes Eyeliner 2L - Using this under my eyes & smudging it out as it is so easy to apply!
Giorgio Armani Waterproof Pencil in Antique Gold 4 - Easily blendable, stay put and don't budge, very pigmented. If that isn't enough you can read more here.
The Lips
Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain + Balm in Passion - If you've been checking in here lately you'll know this was my winner from my Tried & Tested Lip Tints post, I adore the colour and it lasts without going into lip creases. (see it on my lips here).
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Boy - Almost finished this and I hardly ever finish Lip Sticks! Its kind of the perfect combination between a gloss and a balm with a bit of shimmer and colour.
Cover FX Mint Glaze FX - Something I've rediscovered but instead of using it as its intended, as a lip primer, I use it as a subtle gloss just in the middle of my lips to catch the light and give a fuller lips effect.
Miscellaneous -
Essie Nail Polish in Wicked - My all time favourite winter polish! You can see swatches here.
Beauty Blender - After picking up a new Beauty Blender at IMATS I remembered how useful they are and what a flawless look they can achieve! Read my full post here.
Sephora Daily Makeup Brush Cleaner - Spray on the dirty brush, wipe on a towel & your brush is now clean! A great alternative if you don't have time to wash your brushes.
If you have any February Favourites post them below I would love to read :)
