NEW! Chanel Ombres Matelassées Eyeshadow Palette

To celebrate the  re-opening of the boutique on Avenue Montaigne in Paris Chanel have brought out this limited edition palette called the Chanel Ombres Matelassées 51, Montaigne Eyeshadow Palette. Inspired by the 2.55 bags (love!) with 5 gorgeous shades embossed in the typical quilted Chanel way. On first glance the colours in the palette look very off putting but don't be fooled! All the shimmery shades can create the most beautiful of smokey eyes - especially with the khaki and black mixed together. Chanel eyeshadows arn't the best of high end eyeshadows and in terms of pigmentation and colour payoff they are definitely not my favourite. However, compared to swatching some of my other Chanel eyeshadows these do seem to be better quality than the usual!
